If you have stone, and labor, and don't mind turning on a vocation tonic, it's a fantastic way to grab a level or two.įor thunderstruck, it can happen to pretty much every tree, from what I've read, and if it procs, it will do so when it changes states (i.e. Speaking of which, this morning I decided to make 15 or so, and they pay out about 5k per craft if you have a vocation tonic on. I'm level 45, closing in on 50, and I've been spending labor mining, which doesn't really have any benefit to me right now, other than hereafter stones. I might just drop some gold on the auction house to powerlevel those skills though. Anything above that has a threshold of 5000 skill required I think, so I'll be making those for at least a little while. Maybe once I have a stack of about 100 soup then I'll really focus on the potions. I need a crap load of irises too, but somehow I already have loads of medicinal powder, so at least for now I don't need that taking up real estate on my farm.
I need grain to create the first soup tier, and then more grain, as well as barley to create the second one, so double the rice (for grain) seems worth it. Been planting about 20 rice, with the rest being irises and barley. Yeah, ~40 something on the low end sounds about right. Not sure if he said they're the only ones, but I never heard anyone else correct him on that. One of our guild officers, maybe even the leader told me that traveler's trees have a chance to be thunderstruck, but it's extremely low. I feel like sometimes if I didn't lay my plants flush against each other's pixels then I might not be able to fit one more in on the end or something. I kinda wish the farms had built in hooks that let you place them faster, and at maximum efficiency. The only part I don't really like is the time it takes to place all my rice, barley, mushrooms and irises.
A lot better than the feeling of wandering around looking for materials and maybe getting murdered. Not to mention my skill is low, so they're low powered soup and potions.
So I've been making soup and potions, but with my little 8x8 it's a bit slow. I don't have that problem now of course, but when I was closer to the level for it, it was a common occurrence. But healing Hadir Farm, it's easy to go OOM after almost every single pull if you're not dropping those constantly. Then I thought, why don't I just start making myself mana pots and soup?! It sounds dumb, but at the time, it seemed like I had such an enormous stash of potions and soup that I would never burn through it. But not that long ago, mostly after running Hadir Farm several times as a healer, I found myself using mana pots and soups like crazy. For the first 4-6 days or so I just planted traveler's trees and random seeds (traveler's trees for the extremely remote chance at a thunder log or whatever they're called).
So, quick question: When you pay your taxes, does it take into account any days still left before they're due? As in, will it roll those days into your next due date, or if you pay early are you essentially losing out on tax certs? I paid my farm close to the end, and my taxes are due again on the 6th I think, so I'm just waiting until it's almost time before I drop more down.
